Brandon can relate to many of his clients because he too struggled with obesity and weight loss for half of his life. This sets him apart from other personal trainers because he has experienced both sides of the fitness journey. For years, Brandon tried different diets and gym memberships to lose weight and keep it from coming back. However, it took extensive research, a customized diet plan and exercise regime for Brandon to get rapid results in a relatively short span of time. Brandon went from 245 lbs to 160lbs in 6 months, achieving the body image he had desired for years.
Since Brandon has experienced the frustration of failed diets and minimal results with expensive gym memberships, he can empathize with clients and guide them in their fitness journey. Brandon also has extensive experience in the fitness equipment industry. The invaluable sales experience has taught Brandon that clients often expect expensive equipment to help them get results. This is why Brandon's methodology places emphasis on the individual, rather than the machine.
Coupled with his personal and professional experience in the fitness industry, Brandon's passion for a healthy lifestyle has spurred his penchant for kettlebell competition. He has participated and won several events both in Canada and the United States. Brandon is the current:
2012 Novi Invitationals Champion
2012 EYKC Press Competition Champion
2012 Agatsu/TKC Canadian Championship 3rd place finisher
2012 Biatholon Champion
2011 Novi IKFF Nationals Champion.
Brandon is also constantly seeking for ways to improve his technique and training expertise through courses and conferences led by industry experts.
